The Academy's location offers easy access; by road via the A1(M) from junction 62 onto the 690 to Durham and 1 mile to Studio or Durham town centre. Durham can also be reached via rail and coach.Air travel via Newcastle International Airport or Durham Tees Valley from where pick ups can be arranged.
Durham City is a picturesque Modern City sited beneath the historic Durham Cathedral (voted No.1 English Tourist site) and it's Medieval Castle which are surrounded by the river Wear.
Durham offers a wide variety of accommodation to suit every budget. Bookings can be arranged through Starbright's if required.
